What does Professional Installation by TechEasy include?

Professional Installation includes the removal of your existing doorbell and the installation and setup of your new ecobee »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera (wired). If a new transformer or chime box is required, it can be replaced during installation, but these components and their associated installation costs are not included in the standard installation price. You may either provide the replacement hardware or purchase it directly from TechEasy at an additional cost.â€�

Can I purchase the Professional Installation service separately from the »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera?â€�

Yes, you can add the Professional Installation service to your cart along with »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera or purchase it separately later.â€�

How many installations can I purchase per doorbell camera?� You can only buy one installation service per doorbell camera per order. If you require multiple doorbell cameras installations, please purchase them as separate orders.�

What if I don't have a doorbell system, transformer or chime box, or my existing doorbell system needs upgrading? Can TechEasy still install my »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera (wired)?

Yes, for an additional fee (see price list below), TechEasy can install a »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera even if you don't have an existing wired doorbell setup or if your current system needs upgrading. Keep in mind, since »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera (wired) cannot connect directly to your household's standard power supply, your installation may require special wiring and a step-down transformer (16V to 24V with a minimum power rating of 10VA).

For installations without existing wired doorbells or those requiring upgrades, TechEasy offers the following additional services to ensure your smart doorbell works perfectly:

Before confirming your installation appointment, TechEasy will ask key questions to determine your setup needs, such as whether you have an existing doorbell or if your transformer meets the power requirements. While TechEasy will strive to confirm these details in advance, their technician will also bring additional materials, like transformers or chimes to your home, just in case. Rest assured, your technician will assess your specific requirements during the installation process to ensure everything is set up smoothly.

What happens after I purchase the Professional Installation service?�

1. You will receive an email with an order confirmation.�
2. Once your Professional Installation service order is processed, TechEasy will contact you via email to schedule the technician visit. �
3. On the scheduled day, a TechEasy technician will arrive at your doorstep at the chosen time and install your »Ê¹ÚÌåÓý367 Doorbell Camera. Installation usually takes between one and two hours. Please note that an adult must be present to let the technician into the home to access the electrical panel and existing door chime. â€�

�How long does it take to receive and install the doorbell camera?�

Installation scheduling depends on delivery time and TechEasy’s availability, but you will be contacted promptly after your order is processed.�

I booked the technician’s visit, but this time no longer works for me. Can I reschedule?

Please reach out to ecobee to initiate a refund for the product and installation service using the return process detailed below.

If your installation service appointment HAS been scheduled:
Please open the calendar invite for your service appointment and select the Cancel option. You may also call 1-844-441-TECH (8324) to cancel.

Once you cancelled your service appointment, please use the return process detailed below to initiate a refund on the doorbell camera. When requesting the refund from ecobee, please email us confirmation of the cancelled TechEasy technician visit.�

• You can cancel your service appointment at no cost if you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
• Appointments cancelled within 24 hours will incur a $49 service fee.
